confidence productivity Nov 21, 2016
  1. You can be anything and anyone you want to be.
  2. You are perfect just the way you are.
  3. Don’t let other people’s opinion of you doubt your self-worth.
  4. I’m proud of you, even when you fail.
  5. You don’t have to be around negative people.
  6. Life is all about choices. If something doesn’t work out, you can make another choice.
  7. Be kind to yourself.
  8. It’s okay to be frustrated, sad, or even angry at times. All emotions are meant to be felt for a reason.
  9. The world needs your unique talents and personality.
  10. The world is more beautiful because of you.
  11. You are strong, brave, and powerful.

Today as an adult, I understand these are all pieces of wisdom I’ve collected over the years. They are comforting, encouraging words I can choose to tell myself.

You don’t have to wait for someone else anymore to tell you what to do, what to feel, and what to be. You are the generator of your own energy and your life’s mission. When you slow down and quiet your mind, you can hear that inner voice. It has so much to tell you, if you’re willing to listen. Let it be your guide, your healer, your source of truth.

How will you know if and when you’ve connected with this so-called inner voice? Because you will feel a sense of peace. You will have clarity on what to do next in your life and career. You will feel energized again.

Call to Action: What piece of advice would you give your younger self? Could that be your inner voice telling you what you need to do next? Do you have any wisdom about life, success, or failure that you’d like to share with other readers?
